According to the Economics Tourism and Sports Division, the number of international tourists reached 32.7mn (+28% YoY) during January 1-December 8, 2024. Air-transport (airport and airline) should be a prime beneficiary from Thailand’s tourism season as it is the gateway for international tourists coming to the country. We are optimistic about stronger growth in 4Q24. We maintain a Neutral weighting for the sector. Airports of Thailand (AOT.BK/AOT TB)* and Asia Aviation (AAV.BK/AAV TB)* remain our top picks. We maintain Outperform ratings on both with 2025 target prices of Bt71.50 and Bt3.60, respectively.
