Many inexpensive stocks SET valuation is inexpensive, with market earning yield gap (MEYG) around 4.5-4.8% and low P/E ratio (excluding few particular illusions). More than 40 SET100 have PBV below 1x. Out of the total of 705 SET-listed stocks, 422 or 60% of which have price to book value ratio (PBV) not exceeding 1x; some of these companies are still continuously showing profit and paying consistent dividend. Moreover, stocks with solid financial position may repurchase their shares (treasury stock), which will boost their share prices. However, investor confidence is still low and trading value is still too thin.
