• On July 31, the Committee on Energy Policy Administration (CEPA) approved two proposals: 1) Opening a second round of Feed-in Tariff (FiT) purchases for renewable energy totaling 3,668 MW. Priority will be given to qualified applicants not selected in the first round of 5,203 MW. The second round allocation includes 2,180 MW for unsuccessful first-round applicants (1,580 MW for ground-mounted solar and 600 MW for wind), while the remaining 1,488 MW will be open for general applications. The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) establishes criteria and announces the purchase. 2) Postponing the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) for wind power projects affected by the Administrative Court's order to suspend Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signings.
