(EN) GUNKUL : Unlocking the Overhang  On September 16, there was progress in the wind energy case as EA announced the withdrawal of the Wind Kalasin 2 lawsuit. This was the last of three cases pending in court (according to Khao Hoon news).  This development impacts the renewables power plant group in two ways: i) The withdrawal paves the way for wind power plants from the first round of renewable energy selection to sign PPAs. ii) It allows the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to unlock additional upside by proceeding with the second phase of renewable energy selection 3,668 MW
